Description
Rolex vintage watch of the model 'Precision' reference number 9083 a.k.a. "UFO", due to its special housing shape with integrated lugs. The so-called 'honeycomb dial' is all original, with a soft ivory hue and honeycomb texture to it, very elegant. The applied hour markers and original steel hands show no deterioration, with the added beauty of a blued steel center seconds sweep hand. The minute track is also perfect and includes numbers (5, 10, 15, etc.) along with the hour markers. This peculiarity is pretty much unique. The stainless steel case is unpolished. It shows usage but it is in good condition. The case back has an engraved coronet and the watch serial number, both very fine, any polishing would have probably removed it completely. The serial number is 347510, dating back to beginning of 1958, as also engraved in the inside of the back case. The bracelet is integrated and riveted but the buckle and clasp are unfortunately not original.
