Corum Bubble Baron Samedi Limited Edition The Corum Baron Samedi belongs to the "Collector Series 2006" of the famous Bubble model.The Collector Series 2006 is the sixth edition started in 2000. Baron Samedi is one of the Loa (spirit) of Haitian Vodou. Using this cult, according to Corum, "The Bubble Baron Samedi conjures up the underworld and all its dark sided images. His presence reinforces Corum's reputation for celebrating the light side of things macabre". This very unusual Bubble was presented in several versions all limited editions as follow: Stainless steel, limited to 777 pieces (such as the present watch) Stainless steel and diamond-set, limited to 177 pieces Pink gold, limited to 77 pieces Pink gold and diamond-set, limited to 27 pieces Pink gold and fully diamond-set, limited to 7 pieces The large curved stainless steel case is fitted with a thick domed crystal, creating a magnifying lens effect. The large inclined bezel is polished. The polished and brushed back is secured by 6 screws and engraved "Collector Series 2006, Baron Samedi, no. 186/777". The ball-shaped screw-down crown is fitted with a rubber ring to grip for winding The lacquered "fire" dial with a red depiction of “Baron Samedi”, skeletonized stylized steel hands, and red pin head shaped center second hand.
